Return & Refund Policy

At Bombay Tile, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing your order.

Starting a Return
Before returning any product, please contact our customer service team at info@bombaytile.com to initiate the return process. Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization.

Return Eligibility
Products may be returned within 30 days of the order date, provided they meet the following conditions:

  • Product is in original, unaltered condition
  • Product is in original packaging
  • No customizations or modifications have been made
  • Product has not been installed

Please note that we do not accept partial returns. All returned items must be returned as a complete order.

Restocking & Return Shipping Fees
All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus return shipping costs, both of which will be deducted from your refund. Return shipping rates may vary depending on the carrier. If Bombay Tile is at fault for sending the wrong product, all fees will be waived.

Canceled Orders
Orders canceled before they have shipped are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Please be certain of your order before placing it.

Refund Processing
Refunds are issued once the returned product arrives at our warehouse and passes inspection to confirm it is in original condition and packaging. Please allow 3-5 business days from the time we receive your return for your refund to be processed.

Heavy Items
Items over 75 lbs must be returned on a pallet and shrink wrapped for acceptance.

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return, replacement, or refund:

  • Any product that has been installed. Installation of the product constitutes acceptance of the material. No exceptions.
  • Any product that shows obvious signs of use or damage.
  • Any product that has been altered or modified in any way.
  • Any product that is out of its original packaging.

Damaged or Missing Items
All damages or missing items must be reported within 3 days of receiving your shipment and noted on the shipping documents at the time of delivery. Please email photos to info@bombaytile.com within 3 days of receipt.

Please note that during freight transit, it is not unusual to receive up to 5-7% broken tile. Up to 10% breakage is considered acceptable in the industry, and we recommend ordering 10% additional material to account for cuts and breakage. Damaged tiles can often be used for cuts during installation. Any breakage exceeding 10% will be replaced at no additional charge. We do not issue refunds for damaged material — replacement only.

Color & Variation Disclaimer
Due to the nature of digital screens, product colors and finishes may appear differently online than in person. All product photos are chosen to accurately represent the product but are representational only. We strongly recommend ordering samples before making a final purchase decision.

All products are subject to natural color variation. For natural stone and handmade mosaics, variation in color, size, and texture should be expected as these are natural materials crafted by local artisans. We highly recommend verifying your square footage, ordering sufficient overage to avoid mixing color lots, and having your installer open and inspect all boxes and individual pieces immediately upon receipt. No implied or assumed warranty from the manufacturer or distributor covers color, size, or natural variation.
