How long will it take to receive my order?
Shipping times are between 6-8 business days depending on your delivery location from one of our warehouses. Orders placed after 4pm Eastern Time or on weekends/holidays are processed the next business day. Container load and special delivery orders will have different delivery times. Please contact us at info@bombaytile.com for an exact delivery schedule.
How are orders shipped?
1-2 boxes generally ship via UPS. Anything more generally ships on a pallet or pallets via Estes, Southeastern Freight, XPO Logistics or Pitts-Ohio.
Do I need to be present at time of delivery?
Yes. We require the customer or a representative be present at time of delivery to sign for the order and inspect the order with the driver present.
How will the pallet or pallets be delivered?
Pallets are delivered via curbside delivery. This means the shipping line will lower your pallet or pallets at the start of your driveway or at the curbside. Generally, the shipping line is not allowed to enter onto the property.
How will I move the pallet or pallets?
Most customers make arrangements with their contractors to have a pallet jack or manual labor ready to move the pallet or pallets.
Do I need palletize an order before a return?
Yes. The shipping line requires all returns to be shrink wrapped and on a pallet unless it's only a couple of boxes. Generally, anything over 75 lbs must be shrink wrapped and palletized. This is the shipping line policy.
I'm not sure if the tile will match my needs what should I do?
Always order a sample. This is the best way to ensure you get what you need without the hassle and cost of returns. Computer screens can display colors differently. It is best to always check the physical sample. Email us at info@bombaytile.com for your sample. We charge a flat $8 shipping fee for any sample.
How are accessories sold?
Accessories for LVT are sold per piece. Some items arrive packed as 2 per box like stair treads. Please note, accessories are always sold by piece and tile/flooring is sold by Sqft. We do not sell by box.
Can I return material once it's been installed?
No. Material cannot be returned, refunded nor exchanged once it's installed.
Is it possible to scratch LVT Flooring?
While LVT is very resistant, like any type of flooring it can be scratched. Please refer to our care and maintenance section to best protect your floors.
How long will it take to get my sample?
All our samples ship via UPS ground service. If you need it faster, please contact us info@bombaytile.com
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept any major credit card, personal or business check, money orders and wire transfers. Orders must be paid in full before your product ships.
What is your return policy?
Products may be returned as long as they are new and in their original packaging within 30 days of receiving your order for a refund minus shipping costs plus a 30% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for the shipping cost and restocking fee as long as we are not at fault. Returns after the 30 day period will not be accepted.
What do I do if my tile arrived broken?
It's not unusual to receive between 5-7% broken tiles during transit. We always recommend to order 10% additional material. Damaged tile can be used for the cuts you will need to make. If breakage is more than 10% please email photos and details to info@bombaytile.com within 3 days of receipt of material.
I received broken material. Can I return my entire order?
Yes, you may return your entire order but the 30% restocking fee and shipping charges will be deducted from your refund. We can replace damaged material at no extra cost for quantity starting above 10% breakage.
Do all returns have a 30% restocking fee?
Yes, all returns have a 30% restocking fee unless we sent wrong product.
My order was stolen off the property? Can you send me a replacement for free?
Unfortunately no. Due to the weight of orders, some customers leave the pallets on their driveway until the installer arrives. Commercial orders are sometimes left on a job site. What a customer does with the material when it arrives is out of our control and they are responsible if any theft occurs. We encourage all customers to take the necessary precautions to ensure their order is safe when it arrives.
Should I order extra tiles?
Yes, we recommend to order 10% extra material.
I placed an order but I changed my mind. What is your cancellation policy?
All cancelled orders are charged a 30% restocking fee. Your order total minus the restocking fee will be refunded back to your card. Please allow 1-3 business days for your card to be refunded.
Does Bombay Tile provide a warranty?
No. Bombay Tile does not provide any warranties for any products. The Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) does have a Manufacturer's Warranty. Customer is responsible for contacting the manufacturer for any claims.
